Started in 1981, Mauser Insurance grew at the time crop insurance was privatized and allowed to be sold through the agent. Before this, it was always administered through the government, but we saw the potential to help not only the farmers in Iowa, but the agricultural needs of people nationwide. While the industry was new, we forged ahead, loving our home state of Iowa and dedicated to bringing aid that cannot be matched on a local or national level. We have always believed our home-grown roots have been a key to our success because we live and breathe farming -- our office is accessible and located in the middle of farm lands in Mitchell County, Iowa. This passion has been passed along three generations and allowed us to help our community grow and thrive, as well as the industry at large.
