Fruit and Flower Farm is a greenhouse and produce farm located in North Washington, Iowa. It’s a friendly local stop where families can find healthy plants in spring and fresh produce as the season turns.

💛 Why:
Owners Menno & Elaine Zimmerman started Fruit and Flower Farm because they wanted to work from home and build a place where their family could be involved. With Menno’s farm roots from growing up in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, they brought that same steady, hands-on way of life to Iowa.

🛠️ How:
Since starting in 2012, Menno and Elaine have expanded the farm several times and kept the focus on quality, care, and real garden-style freshness. Their home location is where all the growing happens and where you’ll find the biggest selection of beautiful, healthy plants.

🛍️ What:
Plants and greenhouse starts, trees and shrubs, custom planting (bring your empty pots), and seasonal produce like tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, zucchini, strawberries, and watermelon.

👥 Who They Help:
Locals in New Hampton and nearby towns, plus seasonal visitors who enjoy making greenhouse stops. People come back for the consistent quality, early-season growing, and warm, hometown service.
